| Our Coach Pitch baseball league is offered every fall and spring for children ages 7 and 8 (age as of April 30th of that school year). Coaches' Pitch league is very similar to the Advanced T-ball league with the following exceptions: 1) the bases are set at 60' instead of 50', 2) the coach is throwing from a further distance (40 ft), continuous batting children in our baseball program are required to have successfully completed at least one season of Coaches' receive up Seven (7) pitches, on the seventh pitch the ball must be put in play or the batter is out. We will still use a continuous batting order, but once three outs are made, the teams will switch offense and defense. The season will typically last 8-10 weeks with practices and games during the week and weekend. Tega Cay Parks and Recreation will provide participants with hat, jersey and socks. Families are responsible for pants, cleats and glove. |
