| Our Major League division is offered in the fall to children who are league ages 11-12, and in the spring to children who are league ages 10-12. This is a big step up from the minor league program. In the Major Leagues, your child will face much faster pitching, as well as, bigger and better hitters than what they experienced in the Minor Leagues. While we are still very much centered around skill development, we are also beginning to teach newer things as well. Games are usually at a faster pace than what they were in the minor leagues, and only 9 defensive players are used. Teams will still use a continuous batting order in an effort to make sure everyone gets as much playing time as possible. Tega Cay Parks and Recreation will provide participants with hat, jersey and socks. Families are responsible for pants, cleats and glove. |
